Project TurboR

So well here is a page about Project TurboR as i like to call it. It has been my goal to have a 740 Turbo that is producing around 400bhp.

When i started out on my quest for more horsepowermany years ago i searched the net and i found the following site http://www.mcbrooms.com/volvo/fast700.htm.

So i basically committed most of this to memory and my hunt began.

So far this is the current status of the TurboR. Project TurboR Progress Shows the build so far

So thats it, Project TurboR, built by a mad englishman that read about the bits you should get and bolt on your Volvo to make silly power levels. Heck i don't know it all , i just thought that if the internet can teach you to make high explosives then a high powered 400BHP Volvo should be as easy as making bread.

Also i really need to get BHP level's that justify the R on the back of the car.

Hey this is also the reason for the silly project name. As quoted by a passer by whilst my car was in the staging lanes at the local drag strip.

" What the Hell is a 740 Turbor??? "
